Upcoming Municipal, Legislative Elections: CPDM Kupe Muanenguba III Sharpens Claws

Convened on the behest of the Sec­ tion executive led by Mbulle Valen­ tine, the Conference which brough together party diehards from all the 46 subsections that make up Kupe Muanenguba III, articulated four key thematic issues including streng­ thening the party’s base, evaluating organisational preparedness ahead of the municipal and legislative elec­ tions, promoting inclusiveness and active participation, strengthening leadership, and foster collaboration between the Section and other basic party structures. Held on the theme “Strategizing for a Decisive and Landslide CPDM Vic­ tory in the forth-coming Municipal and Legislative Elections, the confe­ rence also provided the opportunity for the Section President, Mbulla Valentine, to engage militants on building a worthwhile political party, loyalty, organisational responsibility, internal democracy and electoral success. According to the Section President, the conference marks a significant milestone in rejuvenating the grassroot, strengthen internal unity, social cohesion and identifying drawbacks affecting the smooth coordination between the Section, subsections and other party struc­ tures. It also provided a new impetus for women and youth to actively and meaningfully participate in party activities especially as the CPDM stands for fair and meaningful re­ presentation.
