Bamenda: Gunmen Kill Senator Kemende

The North West Regional Chairman of the opposition, SDF party on January 12, 2022 announced the death of Senator Kemende Henry Gamsey. The yet-to-be-identified gunmen who brutally killed the Senator reportedly took away his car after the incident in the neighborhood of Mile II, Nkwen Bamenda III Subdivision.  The Director of the Bamenda III Sub-divisional hospital, Dr Ngum Joel told Cameroon Tribune that Senator Kemende gasped to death soon after he was rushed to the medical facility by 8.30 p.m. 

Security challenges are not helping matters since the socio-political crisis started in 2016. Senator Kemende Henry is the latest victim in the region where killings, kidnappings for ransom, torture and violence are regular.
