CHRACERH: First Lady’s Gifts Inundate Newborns

Three babies conceived via IVF and delivered at the Human Reproductive Hospital received special parcels from the matron of the hospital yesterday, January 20, 2022.

“The First Lady of Cameroon, Chantal Biya, heard about the good news coming from CHRACERH, she could not be indifferent. She has sent special gifts to the babies. This is her way of participating in the “born house” event, while carrying the babies alongside with the mothers. Welcome babies, congratulations to the new mothers.” This is the message from the First Lady of Cameroon, via an emissary to the new mothers at the Yaounde Paul and Chantal Biya Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery and Human Reproductive Teaching Hospital (CHRACERH), yesterday January 20, 2022. The emissary had come to deliver special gifts to the new mothers amongst which bouquets of fresh flowers, boxes and a well parcelled gift. Each baby received a set of boxes from the First Lady, a bouquet of red roses and a parcelled gift.   

The envoy arrived at the hospital premises at about 11:00 a.m. with the special package from the First Lady. On hand to receive her was the Administrator, Director General of CHRACERH, Professor Jean Marie Kasia. She was immediately taken to the hospitalisation wards, precisely at Room 303, to meet the happy mothers. Angela M. and her mates were happy to receive a messenger from the First Lady of Cameroon. It was a very brief visit. The gifts were immediately handed to the new mothers who were enjoying motherhood after a long period of waiting in pain and hoping for divine intervention. The mothers could not hide their joy after realising that the First Lady of Cameroon did not only have them in mind when spearheading the creation of the hospital, but also after they must have benef itted from the hospital.
