2023 AFCON Qualifiers : Lions Device Winning Strategies

About 20 out of 25 players summoned by Head Coach Rigobert Song attended a training session yesterday May 31, 2022 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo annex 1 stadium.

It was about 10:20 a.m. yesterday May 31, 2022 that members of the technical team of the Indomitable Lions as well as players began trooping in to the Ahmadou Ahidjo annex 1 stadium. The objective was to take part in yet another training session aimed at inculcating the adequate knowhow to the Lions that will permit them cross the qualification phase of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers and make it to the final phase of the competition. With Kenya out of the way, the main challenger at hand is Burundi in a game slated for June 9, 2022 in Tanzania. But before June 9, the Indomitable Lions, in a bid to further polish up their skills are expected to play a friendly against a local selection on Saturday June 4, 2022 in Douala.
The players called up by Head Coach Rigobert Song to play these matches are progressively joining camp with about 20 out of the 25 players taking part in yesterday’s training session. Team captain Vincent Aboubakar, Choupo Moting as well Nohou Tolo were still awaited at press time yesterday. Meanwhile, defender Collins Fai reportedly joined camp after yesterday’s training session. 
The training began with the welcome and explanation phase, after which they moved to the warm up and then to the positioning game phases.
