What made you to change your mind and come out of the bush?
It was a decision taken to go inside the bush and also a decision taken to come out. At times you do things out of anger and afterwards you regret.  I looked at what I was doing and saw that I had no future. So I decided to drop my weapon and heed to the call of the Head of State to come out and join the DDR Centre. While in the bush, I put my family through a lot of suffering and I realized one cannot fight the government and win.

Now, you were not just an ordinary soldier. You had men under your command. What did you do with the boys that were under your control when you decided to drop your weapon?
Many had died but the few that were left decided to follow me. In the prison yard Up Station. Five of them followed me; others attempted to run but were caught by the military and are now awaiting trial.
Now that you have seen that the DDR Centre is a reality, what are you telling the others still in the bush?
Many of them are afraid that if they should drop their weapons, they will be killed. But since I came to this Centre, I am free. No one has threatened my life or tried to limit my liberty.   You decide on what to do with your life. All I can ask them to do is to come and ask for forgiveness fro...
