Senate: Senators, Staff Decorated

Senate President Marcel Niat Njifenji chaired the medal –award ceremony on July 6, 2017.

Many Senators and staff of the Upper House of Parliament are now enjoying  the State recognition of their hard work and meritorous services. They were decorated with medals in a convivial ceremony chaired  by the President of the Senate, Marcel Niat Njifenji on Thursday, July 6, 2017.
The decorations in the descending order of importance ranged from those of National Order of Valour, National Order  of Merit to medals of public force. Five Senators were decorated with the Grand Officer of the National Order of  Valour, one with the Commander of the National Order of  Valour, three with the medal of the Officer of Valour and two with the Knight of the National Order of Valour.
