Security Concerns: Military Generals Size Up Situation

The Commander of the 2nd Joint Military Region, Major General Saly Mohamadou led a visit to the rice agro-industrial in Ndop on July 6, 2017.

It is the mission of the Upper Nun Valley Development Authority (UNVDA), to help provide farmers with ideal conditions to produce enough rice for domestic consumption. UNVDA or Ndop rice is the major product of the agro-industry and on-the-spot at its Ndop head office and neighbourhoods, the message is that Ndop rice is natural, clean,  the best  and  inspires consumption. In effect, the Commander of the 2nd Joint Military Region, Major General Saly Mohamadou and the Commander of the 22nd Motorized Infantry Brigade, Brigadier General Robinson Agha were in the agro-industry on June 6, 2017 to size up the level of rice production and neighbhourhood development activities by UNVDA.
Inspired by the need to enhance production activities in a serene atmosphere, Major General Saly Mohamadou told management that UNVDA is a vital instrument for the economic emergence of Cameroon and requires the protection of property and people working in the agro-industry in times like this. He said it was against this backdrop that the visiting team of military leaders were on the field to better strategize towards the security of the agro-industry.
