Education: KOICA Alumni Cameroon Assists Orphans

The second award of scholarships to orphans and vulnerable children in Bafia took place on September 10, 2016.

 

The Korean International Cooperation Agency, KOICA, Alumni Association, Cameroon (KAAC) has once more brought hope to children in need in Bafia, Mbam and Inoubou Division of the Centre Region. This was during the second award of scholarships to orphans and vulnerable children in the area on Friday September 10, 2016.

The equipment was awarded to 35 orphans from different orphanages in Bafia and children in distress to enable them start the 2016/2017 academic year without hitches. Out of the number, 10 who did well last academic year received school fees and stationery. The school fees ranged from 30,000 FCFA and above. The President of KAAC, Amina Abdul épouse Nquenya, said the donation was in line with the humanitarian activities of the association.
