Michael Stephen Hoza had a farewell audience with Prime Minister Philemon Yang on September 5, 2017
The outgoing Ambassador of the United States of America to Cameroon, Michael Stephen Hoza says he has spent three wonderful years of his term in Cameroon during which he worked to consolidate the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaking after a farewell audience with Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang at the Star Building on September 5, 2017, he said the major hallmark of the cooperation was in the fight against Boko Haram. He said the military forces of the two countries manifested greater cooperation that also extended to equipment and maintenance. Cameroon-USA relations, the Ambassador said, also witnessed a great leap forward in health domain. He said his country has partnership with Cameroon’s Ministry of Public Health to fight HIV/AIDS. The health cooperation also extended to the fight against great pandemics such as Ebola championed through the Global Health Agenda.
