Social Democratic Front : Fru Ndi Against Diaspora Invectives On Party

 National Executive Committee (NEC) steps up preparedness for SDF’s National Elective Convention in October 2017

 

Frontline opposition political party, Social Democratic Front (SDF)  has stated preparedness to take an unambiguous position and give a sense of direction on the Anglophone crisis that is not helping matters, separating families and  reducing  resources as the 2017/2018 academic year resumes. Party Chairman, Ni John Fru Ndi told the National Executive committee (NEC) session on  September 16, 2017 that the SDF recognizes the contribution of the Diaspora in nation building but would not condone insults and voices that ridicule the party by some members of the same  Diaspora. The Anglophone crisis featured prominently on the agenda of the NEC session with a Commission created to critically analyze the situation to help the party reinforce its position for a federal structure that represents the bicultural nature of Cameroon.
Preparedness  towards the party’s National elective convention scheduled for October 27-29, 2017 dominated deliberations at the session at Fru Ndi’s Ntarinkon residence where it emerged that about 70 percent of the required FCFA  80 million to bankroll Convention activities has been raised.
