AfDB-Cameroon Cooperation: Outgoing Resident Representative Honoured

Racine Kane was last Friday decorated Knight of the National Order of Valour

 

The outgoing Resident Representative of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) in Cameroon, Racine Kane has been distinguished by the government. The Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development, Louis Paul Motaze decorated Racine Kane with the medal of Knight of the National Order of Valour in Yaounde, Friday September 29, 2017.
According to Motaze, the Head of State, Grand Master of the National Order of Valour, Paul Biya decided to exceptionally accord Racine Kane the rank for his services rendered to the country in the last decade. Minister Motaze said the move highlights the fruitful relations existing between Cameroon and AfDB and is a show of appreciation of the Bank’s commitment to contribute to the economic and social development of Cameroon.
Racine Kane who has been in Cameroon since 2010, was appointed as AfDB Deputy Director General for the Central Africa Regional Development and Business Delivery Office with effect from 15 September 2017.
