Meeting at the first scientific and professional colloquium on subcontracting in Yaounde, the actors want to draft a law to guide partnership exchange.

Actors in the contracts sector in the country are brainstorming in Yaounde to come out with a draft legal framework on subcontracting. The stakeholders are meeting at the first scientific and professional colloquium on subcontracting which opened yesterday October 23, 2017. The two-day gathering of suppliers of small and medium-sized enterprises and officials of national and multinational companies is holding under the theme: “Why should there be a law on subcontracting?”

Going by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicraft, Marthe Chantal Mbajon Ndjepang, the putting in place of a law on subcontracting is an effort to give small and medium-sized enterprises a place in the development of the economy.
