2018 World Cup Qualifiers: Coach Reveals 23-Man Squad

The coach of the national football team, Hugo Broos, has published the list of 23 players ahead of the World Cup qualifier match against the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Zambia. The list was made public on Friday November 3, 2017 during a press conference in Yaounde.

Speaking at the press conference, Coach Hugo Broos said his goal is to win Zambia and finish second in the group. He said in order to prepare a team for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, he will supervise more homebased players especially during the upcoming 2018 CHAN in Morocco and give them a chance to test their skills in future matches. To that effect, he called on Cameroonians to be patient.

The encounter which has no stakes will be the last match for the two teams. The list is made up of almost all the players that were called to camp for the match against Algeria last month.
