Junior NBA Basketball: Indiana Purse Lifts Trophy

Indiana Pacers are the winners of the second edition of the Junior NBA Basketball Cameroon tournament.

They beat Denver Nuggets 37 to 30 in the final that took place in Yaounde on Saturday November 25, 2017.

Organised by the Junior NBA Cameroon the competition brought together 450 youths between the ages of 11 to 15 years from Yaounde. The players competed in thirty mixed teams with a minimal obligatory presence of two girls in each team according to the norms of NBA. In the final, Denver Nuggets dominated the two first quarters of the game.

However, Indiana Pacers put up a strong fight and were able to overcome their adversary during the last five minutes of the game with six points. Meanwhile, Junior NBA Cameroon received equipment from ‘Foundation Arthur Embiid and Angles’.
