US Presidential Running Mates Clash

Tim Kaine and Mike Pence tried to woo voters ahead of the November 8, 2016 election during their unique public television debate.

 

A month  ahead of the  presidential election in the United States of America to replace outgoing President Barack Obama, campaigns have entered a higher gear with presidential running mates, Democratic Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence clashing in the first ever and unique public television debate  on October 4, 2016.

Tim Kaine, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s running mate, told Mike Pence, Republican candidate Donald Trump’s running mate that Mr Trump was a "fool or maniac". Mike Pence on his part retorted that Hillary Clinton is "weak and feckless, " BBC quoted. They debated on issues ranging from abortion to Russia in the vice presidential debate at the Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.
