The Support Programme for Improving the Competitiveness of the Economy in Cameroon (PACOM) has negotiated and extended its programme to another six months. Out of the 60 companies earmarked for upgrading 40 actually begun the process, many of whom are still to complete and 20 are yet to join the upgrading process.
The information was made public during the sixth session of the pilot committee to evaluate the effective operationalisation and efficiency of activities of PACOM in Douala December 13.
