Cameroon-Egypt: Savouring Fruitful Cooperation

 Several topics ranging from mutual cooperation to varied sectors of partnership between both countries were discussed in an audience on January 22 with Minister Lejeune Mbella Mbella.

Improving cooperation ties between Cameroon and the Arab Republic of Egypt have been appreciated by the Minister of External Relations, Lejeune Mbella Mbella and the Ambassador to Cameroon, Medhat Kamal El-Meligy.

This was during an audience on January 22, 2018 in Yaounde in which discussions focused on two principal areas; bilateral relations between both countries and the different sectors of cooperation.

The Minister stated that several issues of common interest were deliberated such as the fight against terrorism, security challenges, influx of refugees in the country, and economic stakes given the fall in prices of crude oil and other commodities on the world market.

He further highlighted other sectors of partnership between both nations which target development such as mechanised agriculture, infrastructural development, energy, digital economy and the creation of jobs to address the problems of unemployment.
