Guidance Counsellors in the Littoral Region are sharpening skills to meet the needs of thousands of students and graduates.
The 2016 Students’ Forum holds in Douala from October 26-28, 2016. In preparation, a workshop by the Ministry of Higher Education kicked off in Douala recently on the theme, “Professionalization of Higher Education: A Vector for Self Employment and Harmonious Socio-professional Insertion of Graduates.”
Representing the Minister of Higher Education at the event, Theresia Ndoko Wanah Litumbe, disclosed that the forum will enable students know the different training programmes in and out of the country, awaken the spirit of creativity and entrepreneurship in them, facilitate internship programmes and sensitise them on the Junior Enterprise Project. The 2016 Students’ Forum will not only act as a counselling session, but will also involve lectures, exhibition stands, games as well open door activities for employment. Participants will interact with numerous enterprises and public institutions invited.
