Kpwe Agnes Ika: A Confidence-filled Woman

 With her background as marketer coupled with a political zeal, the NUDP list leader hopes to represent the South West Councils in the Senate.

Female list head for the National Union for Democracy and Progress (NUDP), Kpwe Agnes Ika, canvassing for Senate in the South West regional constituency, is a self-confident lady who fears nothing with next 25 March Senatorial polls. She affirms mastering the political field of the Region promising to walk the campaign rope through the 31 councils of the area.

At 46, Agnes Ika counts already 13 years militating with the NUDP climbing to the elected position of the First National Vice President of the women’s wing during last year’s national congress of the party. Currently, the NUDP federation President in Kumba, Agnes Ika, is representative of the Cambridge University Press in the South West Region owing to her marketing abilities she garnered from the Advanced School of Posts and Telecommunications in Yaounde.

She furthered her studies with the IUT Fotso Victor in Banjoun (Cameroon). Ika is also developing a market for “Cavior Wines” in Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gabon, Burundi and Nigeria. She has done internship with the World Bank Resident Mission...
