South Africa: BRICS Foreign Ministers Prepare Leaders’ Summit

Foreign Affairs and International Relations Ministers of the Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, BRICS economic bloc on June 4, 2018 met in Pretoria, South Africa to prepare a leaders’ summit holding from July 25-27, 2018 in Johannesburg.

The meeting was chaired by Lindiwe Sisulu, South Africa’s International Relations and Cooperation Minister. The theme for the 10th BRICS Summit is: “BRICS in Africa: Collaboration for Inclusive Growth and Shared Prosperity in the 4th Industrial Revolution.” South Africa assumed the chair of BRICS on January 1, 2018 and will remain in this position until December 31, 2018.
