Eseka Train Accident: Littoral’s Condolences

Diplomats, administrative, religious and traditional authorities signed the condolence book October 27, 2016.

Pain, sorry and tear drop characterised the condolence book signing in memory of the Eséka train victim at the Littoral Governor’s office, October 27. Drawing strength from soul touching gospel music that trill throughout the event, the number one of the region, Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua opened the solemn signing event. He was followed by the SDO for Wouri, Naseri Paul Bea, then diplomats, administrative, religious and traditional authorities and businessmen. The event that lasted for over an hour went on without a word which is telling of how touched participants were.

After the signing, India’s Honorary Consul in Douala, J Ravi Kumar declared their intention to donate an important consignment of antibiotics to the Cameroon government to supplement already existing ones for effective treatment. The Consul General of Nigeria in Douala, Adeshina Edward Oloje declared healing upon survivors still in pains in various hospitals and prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
