Support To President Biya: Bali Community Hails Appointment of MINESUP Scribe

The Bali Mubako people in Yaounde organised a civic reception on Saturday to thank the Head of State for appointing Prof. Gabsa Wilfred Secretary General at Higher Education.

Fons of all the five Bali communities that cover parts of Mezam and Ngoketunjia Divisions in the North West Region joined their subjects in Yaounde on Saturday 24 November, 2018 to show appreciation to President Paul Biya for appointing Prof. Wilfred Nyongbet Gabsa as Secretary General at the Ministry of Higher Education on 20 July, 2018. The event at the Advanced School of Public Works saw Senators, Members of the National Assembly, elite, dance groups from Bui, Fako and Nogketunjia Divisions and a choral group as well as personalities from other parts of Cameroon assemble to demonstrate their attachment to the ideals of living together in the country.

Representing the Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques Fame Ndongo was the Inspector General N° One at the Ministry Prof. Manasse Aboya Edong who said the Minister was held down by the ongoing budgetary session of parliament. Before reading a motion of support to the Head of State, Senator Dingha Ignatius underlined the specificity of the message saying not only supporters of the Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement in Ngoketunjia II Special Constituency were involved, but the presence of traditional leaders from the Bali Chambers Community made the event unique. The motion of support was later handed to the representative of the Minister of Higher Education for transmission to the right quarters.
