Ministry of Decentralisation: Appointed Officials Commissioned

They were installed by Minister Georges Elanga Obam yesterday following their recent appointments by the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister.

Nineteen senior officials of the Ministry of Decentralisation and Local Governance were on November 28, 2018 installed into their respective functions by Minister Georges Elanga Obam. The officials comprising Inspectors General, Technical Advisers, Directors and others of similar rankings were respectively appointed by the Head of State on November 8, 2018 and the Prime Minister on November 19, 2018.

Commissioning his collaborators as Minister Elanga Obam called them, he told them to ensure the realisation of the political will of the Head of State as stated in his inaugural speech on November 06, 2018 during his swearing-in ceremony, which is accelerating the process of decentralisation in the country. He urged the gender sensitive team to adopt a managerial approach to work related issues while playing a role in the socio-economic transformation of the country.
