Actions of the Head of State: Members of G20 Salute Efforts

Members of the G20 Group made up of different political parties meeting in Yaounde on Friday 14, 2018 appreciated the efforts of the Head of State in recent times, elected their bureau members and evaluated their activities since the creation of the group. This was in the course of a press conference organised in Yaounde and moderated by the Spokesperson, Dr. Enow Benz Bate of the Cameroon Democratic Party, CDP. While highlighting the objective of the conference, he said they first of all want to appreciate the efforts of the President of the Republic especially towards the discontinuation of legal proceedings against 289 detainees. To them, President Paul Biya is a father to the nation who constantly extends an olive branch and sues for peace. “I was personally happy to have received such news. This is more than a gift to the nation,” Enow Benz stated. He recounted other actions taken by the President of the Republic over the years with regards to the Anglophone crisis.
