Female “Petty Traders” At Star Building

Prime Minister, Head of Government, Joseph Dion Ngute received their leaders on February 14, 2019 afternoon.

Leaders of the Association of female Petty Traders “BayamSellam” of Cameroon were at the Star Building on Thursday, February 14, 2019 where they congratulated the new Prime Minister, Chief Joseph Dion Ngute on his appointment, expressed their support and readiness to collaborate with government and presented some of their teething problems.

Speaking on behalf of the women, Marie Mballa Biloa recalled that the just beginning new seven-year term of President Paul Biya is dubbed “Great Opportunities”. She said they came to inform the Prime Minister of their plan of action and present their worries in connection with taking care of their activities.

She said that association has acquired 800 hectares of land they need to start exploiting in March 2019. President Paul Biya, Marie Mballa Biloa recalled, positions agriculture as one of the key pillars of government’s development actions. The association needs government subvention in order to exploit the land and be autonomous.
