FESTY-FOOT 2019: Louves Minproff Grabs Trophy

It was an exceptional day at the Yaounde Omnisports Stadium Number One on Saturday, February 16, 2019. The event was the fourth edition of the women’s tournament also known as ‘Living together tournament’. Organised by FESTY-FOOT 2019 “Cameroun, ah mon beau pays” the encounter involved top women’s teams notably champions of Cameroon, Louves Minproff and Amazones FAP; all Yaounde-based teams. It was an opportunity for the public to watch 90 minutes of exciting football action.

It was equally an opportunity for some players of the national women’s football team like Augustine Edjangue Siliki, Akaba Edoa, Brigitte Omboudou and Ngo Ndom Annette to train ahead of the World Cup.

Amazones FAP dominated the first part of the game given their experience. However, they could not concretise their chances. The two teams separated at half time on a 0-0 score margin. On resumption Louves Minproff fought back with more determination and at the 52nd minute Vivianne Aboula opened scores for Louves Minproff.
