Trade Exhibition: Syrian Businessmen Organise Fair In Yaounde

Until March 31, they will be marketing assorted products of Syrian origin and scouting to pen partnership deals with Cameroonian SMEs.

A Syrian trade exhibition is ongoing in the nation’s capital Yaounde. The exhibition holding at the Mfoundi CPDM party hall opened in earnest on Friday March 8, 2019, and is expected to run till Sunday March 31, 2019.

The exhibition which was supposed to hold in December 2018, was moved to this month following shipment delays, Moumbagna Amidou, promoter of the exhibition told Cameroon Tribune. He said, however, that the exhibition will even be more interesting than it would have been in December last year. “Cameroonians should be informed that the Syrian exhibition is on. The Syrian exhibitors are true to their brands and they keep innovating,” Amidou said, announcing that there are attractive discounts on wares and freebies to visitors.

Organised by Ebla Oriental, the fair has brought 14 Syrian small and medium-sized enterprises to Cameroon. The foreign entrepreneurs are exhibiting and marketing Syrian products, amongst them: household furniture, curtains and drapes, lighting systems, shoes, clothes, jewelries and craft works.
