West: Youths Display Mark of Patriotism

Bagangté (Ndé) - An enthusiastic crowd of over 25.000 people, comprising nursery school kids, primary school pupils, secondary and high school students, in Banganté, as well as cultural ,social and religious groups, sports associations, and supporters of the CPDM party, converged on the Banganté ceremonial ground on February 11, in jubilant style, to give the 53th edition of the National youth day the pomp and gaiety it deserved .

The ecstatic occasion in Banganté was presided at by the SDO for Nde, Oumarou Hamman Wabi. The first attraction was that, the streets of Banganté were decorated with the national colour, as every 10 meters the national flag was seen flying.

Spectacular highlights in 2019 edition in Banganté was the superb march-past by the students of the Lycee bilingue Banganté, strapped with national colours and carrying the effigy of the Head of state and paraded pass the grandstand, receiving cheers from officials who mounted the grandstand. Another spectacle was the full participation of traditional dance groups, which helped to showcase the rich culture of the ten regions cultural heritage of Cameroon.
