2019 AFCON: Minister Prescribes Cohesion, Team Spirit

An evaluation meeting of the day six match of the 2019 AFCON qualifier between Cameroon and Comoros took place in Yaounde yesterday, March 26, 2019.

The Minister of Sports and Physical Education, Narcisse Mouelle Kombi has called on football officials to continue with collaboration and training in view of putting in place of a preparation plan for Cameroon’s participation at the Total 2019 AFCON in Egypt. This was one of the major recommendations arrived at during an evaluation meeting of the day six match of the 2019 AFCON qualifier between Cameroon and Comoros in Yaounde yesterday, March 26, 2019. Speaking at the occasion, the Minister said after the brilliant performance of the Lions it was time for an evaluation of last Saturday’s match and to better prepare for the chal lenges ahead.

He used the occasion to express the congratulations of the Head of State and government to the Indomitable Lions for their fighting spirit and the technical staff and partner administrations for their contributions towards the success of the team. The President of FECAFOOT, Seidou Mbombo Njoya assured that all will be done to ensure that the team works in good condition. He expressed hope that the next match of the Indomitable Lions will be played in a completed Olembe Stadium.
