Minpostel Launches Web Siteto mobilise fans and supporters of the Lionesses
A ceremony to present two digital platforms dedicated to the Women AFCON 2016 took place in Yaounde yesterday November 17, 2016.
The 2016 Women AFCON will attract many supporters and tourists in the country and who will need to have rapid and instant access to information on the event. Ahead of the kick off the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has launched a web site of and a mobile application FAN-CAN 2016 dedicated to the Women AFCON. A ceremony to present the two digital platforms took place in Yaounde yesterday November 17, 2016.
Speaking at the occasion, the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Minette Libom Li-Likeng said the objective of the project is to put at the disposal of visitors of the web site information on the competition, practical information and spatial data in view of facilitating life for the different actors in the competition venues notably delegations, fans, officials and journalists. Minister Libom Li-Likeng expressed hope that the two platforms be tools to mobilise fans and supporters of the Lionesses and project the team to victory come December 3, 2016.
