Douala : Governor Encourages Internally Displaced Students

Littoral witnessed a hitch free take off yesterday.

The 2019/2020 academic year in the Littoral region kick started on a right footing with the governor visiting some schools within the region.  The heavy down pour on September 2, 2019 did not deter Governor Samuel Ivaha Diboua from taking turns to get a feel on how classes took off in the region. His first stop was at the GBHS Deido where the principal Madam Yvett Mukete gave a rundown of activities for the Day, at the premises students were out for the morning devotion.
The governor equally went round with a special message of encouragements to students and pupils who have escaped violence from the North West and South West Regions. Be it at GBHS Bonamoussadi, College Moderne Bilingue de Laureats, GBHS Bonaberi, Emergence Primary School Bonapriso, Government Primary School Ndogpassi and Lycee Technique de Koumassi, Governor Samuel Ivaha Diboua identified Internally Displaced Students and encouraged them to feel at home. He called on them to be disciplined and self controlled. He used the opportunity to ask the different head of institutions to treat the Internally Displaced Students with love and affection.
