Decentralisation: FEICOM-Medium Cities Programme Evaluated

The Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation chaired the first extraordinary session of the steering committee on November 18, 2016 in Yaounde.

Midway into the implementation of the FEICOM-Medium Cities Programme launched in April 2014, members of the steering committee have met in Yaounde in an extraordinary session to take stock of the progress made so far and streamline measures in surmounting obstacles identified. The Minister of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation (MINADT), René Emmanuel Sadi, chaired the session, during which he reaffirmed government’s commitment to ensuring the successful implementation of the programme sponsored to the tune of over FCFA 10 billion (16 million Euros) by the German Development Bank (KFW).
