Solange Ndengue : Looking For…

The actress and film maker owns a production house named Allah Ndengue Entertainment.

Solange Ndengue wrote, produced and played the lead role in the movie “Lone Girl” directed by Cameroonian born Didi Lobe. The movie is a combination of skills which led to its selection for screening during the 2019 edition of the Ecrans Noirs Film Festival in Yaounde. Native of the South West Region of Cameroon, Solange Ndengue always describes her journey into the film industry as a blend of setbacks and opportunities. Her first quest was that of persuading her parents who wanted her to become a medical practitioner - a field which was clearly detrimental to her childhood dream of getting into the movie industry. “My mum has always been supportive of all her kids, encouraging all of us to do what makes us happy. But dad who was more influential in our lives had already made plans for us. He wanted me to become a medical doctor, so when I told him I had plans for myself, it was a tough debate but I finally convinced him,” Solange disclosed. 
Over the years, Solange’s passion and determination seems to be paying-off. Her professional degree in Banking and Finance obtained in Douala helped her properly manage her production company. “When I was a teenager, friends and classmates nicknamed me ‘Chekube’.
