A two-week workshop by the Supreme State Audit Office opened yesterday in Yaounde.
Inspectors of Services drawn from some ministries have begun a two-week workshop on the “Methodology and techniques of verification.” The training to run from November 21 to December 2, 2016, is organised by the Supreme State Audit Office within the framework of its pedagogic mission towards internal audit structures of other ministries.
Opening the workshop yesterday, November 21, 2016 in Yaounde, the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Supreme State Audit Office, Rose Mbah Acha Fomundam, underscored the importance of General Inspectorates in ministries as internal auditors whose reports are further analysed by external auditors of the Supreme State Audit office. It was therefore necessary to train new Inspectors of Services in order to harmonise verification standards, methods and techniques.
