Tourism Promotion: WTO SG Recommends Cameroon Destination

Prime Minister, Philemon Yang yesterday in Yaounde held talks with the Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation on behalf of the Head of State.

 

The visiting Secretary General of the World Tourism Organisation, WTO, Taleb Rifaï, has commended Cameroon for the zeal in promoting the country’s destination. He was speaking in Yaounde yesterday November 21, 2016, after an audience granted him by the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang on behalf of the Head of State. “I had the honour of meeting the Prime Minister and from what I heard from him, the spirit in Cameroon is changing. There is a political will to change everything. Experience has shown that if there is the belief on behalf of top political figures, things will change,” the WTO scribe told reporters. He was accompanied to the Star Building by the Minister of State, Minister of Tourism and Leisure, Bello Bouba Maïgari.
