Diplomacy : Focus On Improving Bilateral Relations

This was during two separate audiences granted the Ambassadors of Saudi Arabia and South Korea to Cameroon on January 22, 2020

Two Ambassadors were on January 22, 2020 received in separate audiences by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Islamic World, Adoum Gargoum, in the course of which discussions centered on improving cooperation ties between Cameroon and the two countries. They were the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Cameroon, Abdalelah Mohammed A. Alsheaiby and the Ambassador of South Korea to Cameroon, Bok-Ryeol Rhyou. Edifying reporters on the reason of his visit to the Ministry of External Relations, the Saudi Arabian diplomat who was first to be received speaking through an interpreter said the meeting with the Minister was very positive. “Our meeting of today was very positive and we reviewed the different questions that concern cooperation and relations between Cameroon and Saudi Arabia. This meeting falls within the framework of meeting different Cameroonian authorities and at every level, we have met the same level of understanding and availability. This reflects the importance attached to the relations between the two countries which as you know date more than 50 years and have always been friendly,” he stated. Abdalelah Mohammed A. Alsheaiby further stated he is very impressed with the efforts deployed by Cameroonian authorities towards facilitating the execution of duties by Saudi Arabia nationals and other officials of their diplomatic mission. The audience of today was very fruitful and efforts deployed by Cameroonian authorities put at our disposal to exercise our duties. With the South Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, Bok-Ryeol Rhyou, Minister Adoum Gargoum held talks on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various domains of cooperation.
