MPs Upgrade Knowledge On Settlement Bill

A capacity building seminar for Parliamentarians took place on December 5, 2016 in the House Chamber of the National Assembly.

Members of the National Assembly have been schooled on the Settlement bill usually tabled in parliament by the government before the start of each financial year. A capacity building seminar took place on December 5, 2016 in the House Chamber of the National Assembly chaired by the Deputy Speaker, Hon. Theophile Baoro, in the presence of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, Victor Yene Ossomba.

The objectives to the seminar according to the Head of the Budget Reforms Unit in the Ministry of Finance, Cyrill Edou Alo’o, stated is to enable MPs better under the drawing up and functioning of the settlement bill.
