National Assembly: Chinese Culture Showcased

The Chinese Cultural Days started at the Ngoa-Ekelle National Assembly ceremonial hall on November 29, 2016.

 

Cameroonian Members of Parliament are discovering diverse aspects of the Chinese culture up to tomorrow, Thursday, December 1, 2016 within the framework of China Cultural Days that started at the National Assembly on November 29, 2016. The Cultural Days are organised by the Cameroon-China Parliamentary Friendship Group that is headed on the Cameroonian side by Hon. Gaston Komba.

The Senior Vice Speaker of the National Assembly, Hon. Hilarion Etong who chaired the opening ceremony on behalf of House Speaker, Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril lauded the initiative and called on Cameroonian MPs to copy the example of the history of Chinese evolution characterized by key pillars such as patriotism, hard work and sacrifice for Cameroon’s emergence to be attained by 2035.
