Bilateral Cooperation : Cameroon, European Union Review Finance Reforms

Ambassador Hans-Peter Schadek on July 21, 2020 in Yaounde met with the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze.

The European Union, EU, is Cameroon’s long term partner, with relations spanning several decades. It is in this light that the outgoing EU Ambassador to Cameroon, His Excellency Hans-Peter Schadek, met with the Minister of Finance, Louis Paul Motaze in Yaounde on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 in Yaounde.
The Ambassador said it was a farewell courtesy visit at the end of his three-year tour of duty. During the meeting, he said they discussed cooperation between Cameroon and the EU. “In the past three years, the Minister of Finance and I worked on a number of issues, including finance reforms. Cameroon is EU’s long time partner. This is something my successor and the Minister will continue to work on. My prayer is that collaboration will continue from where I ended,” Ambassador Schadek explained.
