His Majesty  Fon Solomon A.  Angwafor of Mankon in the following excerpts thinks that continuous dialogue between the government and striking leaders is the way forward.\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nHow does Your Majesty size-up the situation in Bamenda since the disorder of November 21, 2016 ?\r\n\r\nAs at now, I think Bamenda is relatively calm although some youths are still trying to perpetrate some acts of vandalism. Although the atmosphere is still tense, people go about their daily activities. I must say that Bamenda is not at its best as some inhabitants have preferred to stay at home for fear of being hurt.\r\n\r\nThe Forces of Law and Order are very present to ensure that people peacefully go about their activities. They are also there to help dissuade some vandals who want to destroy and cause havoc. That is why from time to time, the forces use tear gas to dissuade them and ensure that vandals do not loot or steal.\r\n\r\nWhat do you prescribe for a way forward in times like this?\r\n\r\nThe population should stay calm.
