Top ranking officials of the Bank of Central African States, BEAC last Friday December 18 ended a three day training session in Douala aimed at edifying them on the new operation distinct programme that will aligned managerial skills within BEAC. The training session came at a time when BEAC is about to step up standards and meet up with future challenges in the banking sector. For three days, modules like “Leadership with vision and influence”, “Influence, management and organization transformation” were elaborated on, and participants were drilled on each module with vivid explanations and demonstrations.Read also : Corridor Douala-Bangui : le trafic peut reprendre
The training been facilitated by HEC Paris, is a clear indication that BEAC is ready and apt to upgrade the skills of its management staff to meet up with world standards. The global dispositive of the three-year partnership initiated this year between BEAC and HEC Paris includes for this first year two distinct training programs; a three-day program for members of its government and a 10-day certifying program for its senior executives. BEAC officials indicated that the development of the partnership will continue in 2021 and 2022 by opening up to the management of banks in the CEMAC zone for the sake of continuous improvement and transfer of competence.Read also : Emergence : Charles Foka pour une transition énergétique
The training session they also said was devoted to management, leadership and self-knowledge, to bring out the emotional and collective intelligence essential for commitment and performance.
