CHAN 2020 : Intermediate Lions Continue Training In Douala

After returning from the Christmas break, the players have resumed training and will play friendly matches with some clubs of the League One championship.

As the count down to the sixth edition of the Total African Nations Championship narrows, the Intermediate Lions of Cameroon are finalising preparations. After returning from the Christmas break, the players have resumed training under the supervision of the head coach, Martin Ndtoungou Mpile. 
At the moment the team is in Douala where they are fine-tuning their skills. The players and the coach are working out winning strategies in order to avoid any errors during the competition. During their training in Douala, the Intermediate Lions will play several friendly matches with some teams of the national League One Championship. According to the programme the Intermediate were expected to play against League One side, Stade Renard of Melong at the newly constructed Japoma Stadium yesterday December 27, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The team intends to use the game as part of their lengthy preparations for the upcoming Total African Nations on home soil. Stade Renard on their part is preparing for the 2020-2021 football season.
