Etienne Ndayiradije is a professional football manager who is coach of the Tanzania national football team. Etienne Ndayiragije, 42, was born in Burundi but spent most of his football career in Tanzania. Before his appointment in 2018 as coach of the Tanzanian team, Ndayiragije coached Vital’O between 2015 and 2016. The Azam former head coach was appointed to lead Tanzania senior national team on Thursday, July 11, 2019, during an emergency meeting at TFF house. The Burundi international coach replaced Nigerian tactician Emmanuel Amunike who was sacked by Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) due to the Taifa Stars’ poor performance at the ongoing African Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.
