Tanzania, Zambia Clash Opens Hostilities Today

Both teams are waxing strong and being weighted equally to face each other this evening at Limbe Omnisports stadium.

The Limbe omnisports stadium is the place to be today with Tanzania lurking horns with Zambia at 5pm. This will be the opening match for pool “D” after which Guinea will face Namibia by 8pm.
Pre-match conferences were already held at the Limbe Omnisports stadium yesterday morning with each of the teams announcing its colours. Concerning Namibia, team captain John Raphael Bocco, voiced that they had enough preparation that could propel them far into the competition. Their coach, Etienne Ndayiragije, confirmed they had a good preparation and they were not under any pressure. “Our strength is in our team spirit” he added.
Meanwhile, Zambia took its turn to train at the Molyko Stadium in Buea at 6pm yesterday. With a young team, the Zambians are certainly banking on energy and the zeal to overcome Tanzania. Spectators of the Limbe/Buea pool are waxing to jam the 22,000 Limbe Omnisports facility, though not up to that number will be allowed for reasons related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
