CHAN 2020 : Former Indomitable Lions Mobilised

They officially opened a supporter’s ground in Yaounde dubbed the “Lions Village” yesterday January 19, 2021.

Former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon under the canopy of an association known in French as “Collectif Des Anciens Lions Indomtables” (CALIF) have shown interest in the ongoing 6th African Nations Championship by creating a fan arena at the Charles Atangana monument in Yaounde dubbed the “Lions Village”. The spot aimed at bringing together former lions and football lovers to live the football jamboree was officially opened yesterday January 19; 2021. It was in the presence of top officials like the Minister of Labour and Social Security, the Governor of the Centre region, the Yaounde City Mayor amongst others.
Taking during the opening ceremony, the Secretary General of CALIF and former Indomitable Lions’ goal keeper, Vincent Ogandzi, explained that the Lions Village is a place where people could come together, watch the matches on the big screens and discuss with the lions over the game.
