DR Congo-Niger : Decisive Game For Both Teams

The two sides that were based in Douala have now moved camp to Yaounde where they will play their last group game today, January 25, 2021.

The Democratic Republic of Congo will clash with Niger in the last group B game in the ongoing Total African Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Ahmadou Ahidjo Stadium in Yaounde today January 25, 2021 at 8:00 p.m.  The two teams that were based in Douala since the start of the competition have now moved camp to Yaounde where they will play their day three match. The delegations were expected to arrive in the capital city yesterday, January 24, to prepare the game. 
The encounter promises to be tough as each side will be out to secure a victory in order to qualify for the second round of the competition. The DR Congo will need to focus on the game as they are not far from qualification to round two of the competition. The two times champions started the competition on a brighter note. During their first two outings the DR Congo beat Congo 1-0 in their first outing to take the lead in group B. They later drew 1-1 with Libya in the second game. DR Congo are on top of group B with four points and must beat Niger to secure a ticket for the quarterfinals. Niger on their part have two points.
