Nsimalen Welcomed Four Presidents

The Heads of State of the C.A.R., Chad, Equatorial Guinea and Congo Republic touched down in succession amidst song and dance from the population.

 

The Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) started in earnest at the Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport. The successive arrivals of four Presidents kept no one indifferent. To set the ball of arrivals rolling was Faustin-Archange Touadera, President of the Central African Republic.

The plane transporting the newest President of the sub region, touched down at exactly 12 noon to a thunderous welcome from the population of his country resident in Yaounde. Like the three other  Presidents that followed, he was welcome at the foot of the plane by the Prime minister, Head of Government Philemon Yang and accompanied to the Hilton by the Minister in Charge of Special Duties at the Presidency of the Republic, Mengot Victor Arrey Nkongho
Then at exactly 3:30 pm, came the plane transporting the president of the Republic of Chad, Idriss Deby Itno. He was followed at 5:30 pm by Equato-Guniean President, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and at 5:55 pm by President Denis Sassou Nguesso of the Republic of Congo. All these Presidents were welcome at the foot of their various planes by PM Philemon Yang. The various populations that answered present at the airport, swapped positions to give their leaders befitting reception.
