Anglophone Teachers, Lawyers Problems: Ad Hoc Committees Begin Work Today

There are hopes that in the coming days, teachers in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon will suspend their strike action and resume teaching and lawyers in the same regions will go back to the courts.

This is thanks to the Ad Hoc Committees the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Philemon Yang created to consult with these groups of professionals in order to find lasting solutions to problems raised. The Ad Hoc Committee on educational issues will start work in Bamenda today, December 27, 2016.

The recently created Ad Hoc Committee to look into the issue of lawyers is also said to be at work today.
