CDU : Heartbeat At Yaounde Conference Centre

The party’s seventh national convention will take place at the Yaounde Conference Centre from October 28-29, 2021.

Ahead of the seventh national convention of the Cameroon Democratic Union (CDU) that will take place at the Yaounde Conference Centre from October 28-29, 2021, the party’s leader, Hon. Hermine Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya on October 26, 2021 gave a press conference on the level of its preparations, focus and stakes. 
The convention that will take place on the theme, “The new era, that of freedom, responsibility, contribution of all that will and must start: Cameroon by all Cameroonians and for all Cameroonians” also coincides with the 30th anniversary of the CDU that was founded by Dr Adamou Ndam Njoya on March 22, 1991 and was legalised on April 26, 1991. Hon. Tomaino Ndam Njoya who is leading the CDU now, was designated by the political bureau of the party on April 26, 2020 to pilot its affairs up the seventh national convention following the death of its founding President on March 7, 2020.
Concerning the convention, Hon. Tomaino Ndam Njoya said it will be an occasion to give a balance sheet of the activities of the party for the past five years since the sixth national convention. One of the high points will be the election of the new national President of the CDU who will pilot the affairs of the party for the next five years. The convention will serve as the forum to determine the orientations on the general policy of the party. On specific issues, Hon.
