Cameroon-Korea : High-level Visits In View

Minister Felix Mbayu received in audience the Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, Jonghan Kim on October 27, 2021.
The Minister Delegate to the Minister of External Relations in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Felix Mbayu, granted an audience to the Korean Ambassador to Cameroon, Jonghan Kim on October 27, 2021, during which both parties held talks on upcoming high-level visits to strengthen diplomatic ties. The Minister and Ambassador also examined the state of relations between the two countries.
Speaking through an interpreter, the Ambassador said “We reviewed bilateral cooperation between Korea and Cameroon. We also talked about upcoming high-level visits between the two countries. Cameroon and Korea have enjoyed positive cooperation ties since the establishment of diplomatic relations some 60 years ago. In November, there will be a meeting between our two Ministers of External Relations,” he stated. Ambassador Jonghan Kim said the meeting will serve as a platform to discuss issues of cooperation and ways of diversifying them for mutual gains.
Relations between Cameroon and Korea span through several domains.
